Welcome to Accounting Manager for the
Internet.
If you are a financial director of a Greek Fraternity or
Sorority then this program was designed with you in mind.
This Internet based program allows you to easily handle the
difficult task of accounting for your chapter. With sometimes
over 150 members in the house, room billing, check book
deposits, member payments, bank reconciliaiton, you know the task can become
somewhat overwhelming.
Accounting Manager is a comprehensive program for making chapter
finances a lot easier for the treasurer. Give her the right tools to do her
job; check out the features below.
Features
-
Platform independant. Use any computer that has an MS
internet browser 6.0 or higher and an Internet connection.
-
Do not have to buy any new computers for each Chapter.
Financial officers can use their own desktop or laptop computers as long as
they have access to the Internet. Not having to buy computers alone will pay
for the program.
-
No installation headaches. Software does not have to be
installed on a chapter PC. No CD’s to ship, no installation problems with the
different types of Windows Operating Systems.
-
If there is an upgrade to the program there is no need to
update the software on the chapter computer. Once an upgrade is installed on
the server all users are immediately upgraded. Again no need to ship and
install the program on individual CD’s
-
Backups are automatic. The program and all the databases are on
a server in a fireproof building, with daily backups and mirrored hard drives.
(If one drive fails the other drive is immediately brought on-line while the
other is replaced. 99% uptime). As an option Headquarters can copy via FTP,
all the databases from the server and archive them.
-
Access is password secured. Passwords are be controlled by
headquarters via their own administration area. If there is an officer you
no longer want to have access to the program you can merely change their
password or eliminate them from the list.
-
Data security. Proprietary data is not on any computer in the
chapter house.
-
Headquarter financial officers have access to the chapter
accounting databases at all times, from anywhere in the world. No longer does a
chapter need to mail reports to headquarters.
-
Headquarters based software can be developed to generate
amalgamated reports from all the chapter databases.
-
At all times the Chapters have full access to their bank and
their own funds. They can write checks at any time during their course of
business.
-
Chapters can print checks from the checkbook.
-
Members can log into their accounts via user name and
password for statements and payment of bills. No need to send bills to the
members. If you wish to accept credit cards we suggest a very low cost system
called PayPal. See www.paypal.com
